I think the lesson that I have learned is that it takes about a week for disrupting my sleep schedule to actually start to have knock-on effects. Last week I stayed up late one night to keep working, and little by little I fell out of my rhythm. I’ve missed the gym several days this week which seems to compound, too. Also! I very stupidly went grocery shopping while I was hungry and so I haven’t been eating very clean this week, which I don’t think helps. I’m also putting more pressure on myself than usual because I’m very concerned that jury duty is going to be a huge time sink next week. All of that is to say that I wasn’t nearly as productive as I would have liked today, and I feel like it’s important to be honest with everyone about the occasional bad days. But these things happen, and I’m gonna finish the week strong!
